PINE BEACH TOW & IMPOUND YARD

Municipal Tow and Impound Lot is located behind Borough Hall (599 Pennsylvania Ave. Pine Beach, NJ 08741) , on Merion Avenue.

The owner of any vehicle impounded by or at the direction of the Pine Beach Police Department and stored at the Municipal Tow and Impound Lot shall be responsible for all costs and fees associated with the towing and storage of the vehicle.

The impound and tow rates will be consistent at one hundred dollars ($100) for the first day; ( sixty dollars ($60) administrative fee and forty dollars ($40) storage and forty dollars ($40) a day for each additional day.

The impoundment costs and fees shall begin to accrue on the date on which a tow was required and shall continue daily, beginning at 12:01 a.m., each day thereafter until the costs and fees are paid in full and the vehicle is released.

If a vehicle impounded pursuant to this section becomes abandoned, the tow operator shall be required to obtain payment from the person on record as the owner of the vehicle at the time of the impoundment.

Owners of any impounded vehicle have to pay tow company first before paying the impound fee. Tow fees are set by the tow companies. Please refer to the list below for the tow companies.

Once the tow company is paid, you must pay the impound fee at the Pine Beach Borough Hall. Vehicles can only be released during Borough Hall hours of operation (Monday-Friday, 8:00am- 4:00pm.)

Vehicles can only be released to the owner.
