Patrol Division

Pine Beach Officers protect citizens by preventing crime, enforcing laws, apprehending suspects, and monitoring traffic.

Prevent crime by explaining and enforcing applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances; teaching preventive, protective, and defensive tactics; mediating disputes; patrolling assigned area; responding to notices of disturbances; conducting searches; observing suspicious activities; and detaining suspects.

Apprehend suspects by responding to complaints and calls for help, observing violations, and making arrests.

Document observations and actions by radioing information and completing reports.

Fulfill court orders by serving warrants and commitments.

Maintain safe traffic conditions by monitoring and directing traffic, enforcing laws and ordinances, investigating accidents, providing escort, and reporting unsafe streets and facilities.

Minimize personal injury by rescuing and reviving victims and radioing for medical assistance.

Maintain operations by following department policies and procedures and recommending changes.

Officer Duties
Detective Bureau
The Pine Beach Police Department Detective Bureau investigates crimes that have been reported to the department or discovered by our officers. Detectives works with officers, crime scene investigators, and other departments to build a case for prosecutors to take before a jury. They analyzes physical evidence and conduct interviews to reach their conclusions about what exactly happened during an incident.

Internal Affairs Unit
Internal affairs investigators are responsible for detecting and addressing crimes or offense committed by police officers. Their job description entails conducting investigations to verify the authenticity of complaints as filed against the police by the public.
